A monumental effort has gone into organising a festival of football that stretches over ten hours and one hundred and sixty seven games of football. With the games kicking off at 9am and not finishing until after 7pm there will be some tired legs at conclusion of play. Those tired legs will include many coaches, referees and volunteers, not just the players who will spend their day scurrying around one of the four pitches!

It’s an extra special year for FC Bracknell as we celebrate our 40th anniversary providing football for youngsters across Bracknell. Over the years thousands of children have played under the FC Bracknell banner, with two hundred children currently signed to the club playing for seventeen different teams.

Sixteen different clubs will be represented at the tournament this weekend. FC Bracknell as hosts have eleven clubs participating over five different age groups (U7, U8, U9, U10 & U11). Clubs providing an large number of teams include Binfield FC (9), Whitegrove (9), Pinewood (8), Bracknell Cavaliers (7), Finchampstead (7) and Bracknell Town (6). Other clubs who also have teams playing on Sunday are AFC Henley, Ashbridge Park, Ascot United, Berks County, Marlow United, Sandgate and Windsor FC. However far they travel and however many teams they bring we hope they all enjoy their day at Farley Wood.
